One of the most underutilized ways to use Bullhorn Automation is to have it populate tearsheets for you.

For instance, you can use a BH automation to add candidates or contacts to a tearsheet once the Owner field is set to a user in your system .  This is a great way to keep track of every candidate or contact your recruiters or sales folks have ever spoken to.

You can also automatically add and remove contractors of coming off assignment or any candidate with a status of ‘MPC’ (most placeable candidate) to a tearsheet.

Just think about all the talent in your ATS that you can use to win new jobs.

So what’s holding you back?

Here are some ways you can use talent pools and tearsheets in Bullhorn to win new business.

Redeployment: for IT Staffing or Staff Aug if you use end dates on the placement record.  Bullhorn Automation can automatically add all candidates rolling off assignments to a tearsheet.

  • Once on a tearsheet, your team can at least see who is rolling assignments this week or month.
  • They can also proactively market out that talent via tools like 3DiQ and include 3DiQ lists in their Bullhorn Automations.

Proactive Market top talent: With all the money you spend on candidate acquisition and all the great conversations and relationships your recruiters build.  Use those candidates in your marketing and business development efforts.

  • You can now email top talent out directly though 3DiQ or through Bullhorn Automation
  • You can also now embed that lists of top available talent on your website and capture leads and what type of talent a potential lead is looking for.   Think Fiverr or Upwork

PS..retained firms use this top talent to prove why they should win a retained contract.

Prove your value: the best firms use their past placements to prove their value.   Create a tearsheet of your placements for the past month and use that in marketing efforts.

  • First it will prove the quality of work you do
  • Second whatever job titles anyone looks at your now have an idea of what types of positions types of talent your leads are looking for.
